I never realized how blessed I was to grow up in a small beach community. The term "sunny Florida" meant a lot more to me once I left and moved to Alabama for college. Watching incredible sunsets over the water was something I thought everyone had the joy of experiencing. I struggled in school until I realized I excelled at doing things that required hands on work - so I switched majors to work as a cardiac sonographer. I loved the job for a while, and then I had a child and missed watching him grow up with his family.  When the job opportunities arose to move back home we did not hesitate. We were finally back in Florida! I was always an artist and had grown up with a camera in my hand, editing photos for my family and friends. When I came home, I decided to take photography a little more seriously. With the wonderful support of my husband and family, I started taking on more and more sessions. Finally, when my photography business grew enough to be full time work, I had to make a decision to either quit photography or quit my medical job. It was an easy decision, and I have not looked back for even a moment. Everyday I am more and more thankful that I get to be a part of so many people's lives capturing the most precious memories. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you!
